J&K Police arrest scrap dealer, recover stolen copper in Jammu

Jammu, Oct 10 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday arrested a scrap dealer for allegedly receiving stolen copper and recovered the stolen material from him in the Satwari area. Police said that acting on the disclosure of accused Umer Wasim, a resident of Bagga in Mahore tehsil of Reasi district, they arrested the alleged receiver, Dev Raj, a resident of Bariyan, Supwal, in Samba district, and recovered the stolen copper in the case. The operation was conducted by PSI Jarnail Singh, in-charge of Police Post Gadigarh, under the supervision of Satwari SHO Inspector Paramjeet Singh. Further investigation is underway.…
