Maha cabinet decisions: Drought panel, metro land pacts among five key approvals

Mumbai, Sep 22 (UNI) The Maharashtra cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced on Tuesday that the State government has introduced immediate drought-relief measures by establishing a cabinet sub-committee to monitor the drought situation on a weekly basis while fast-tracking critical infrastructure and urban renewal projects across the state. The state government has also ratified five crucial resolutions at the cabinet meeting aimed at accelerating administrative relief, safeguarding farmers' interests, and expediting urban development.
