Govt Announces Financial Assistants To Bhajani Mandals in Maharashtra

Mumbai, Sept 23 (UNI) The Maharashtra Department of Cultural Affairs has invited online applications from Bhajani Mandals across the state for grants for the financial year 2026-27. Cultural Affairs Minister Adv Ashish Shelar said on Wednesday that around 2,000 Bhajani Mandals would be provided financial assistance under the scheme aimed at encouraging folk artists and promoting traditional art forms. Eligible Bhajani Mandals can apply online through mahaanudan.org from September 23 to October 22. The beneficiaries will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis.
