Nashik: House shifted instead of demolished for road widening

Nashik, Sep 17 (UNI) In an unusual and innovative experiment, a newly constructed house in Yeola taluka of Nashik district is being shifted to another location instead of being demolished to make way for road widening. The house, built near the factory of Yeola-based entrepreneur Samrat Verma, has been obstructing the road expansion work. Rather than demolishing the newly-built structure and suffering a major financial loss, Verma decided to relocate it while preserving the property and its emotional value.
