Maha: 19-yr-old worker dies of electrocution at artificial immersion pond in Mumbai

Mumbai, Sep 20 (UNI) A 19-year-old contractual worker died due to electrocution after suffering an electric shock inside an artificial idol immersion pond at Shyamnagar Talao in Jogeshwari (East) today. The deceased has been identified as Rohit Bhimu Rathod. According to information provided by the Assistant Commissioner, K/North ward, five artificial immersion ponds had been set up at Shyam Nagar Lake for Ganesh idol immersion. Four of the five ponds were closed after midnight.
