Maha: Four killed, 5 injured in explosion at welding workshop in Yavatmal

Mumbai, Sep 26 (UNI) Four persons were killed and five others injured after a container carrying gelatin sticks exploded during welding work at a workshop in Umarkhed area of Maharashtra's Yavatmal district today, police said. The incident took place at a welding workshop on Dhanaki Road, where a tractor used for blasting-related work had been brought for repairs. According to police, welding work was in progress when the metal container containing gelatin sticks, which was attached to the tractor, suddenly exploded.
