Five killed as Bus collides with car on Beed highway

Beed, Oct 18 ( UNI) Five people were killed on the spot when a bus collided with a car near Shindewadi Phata on the Pandharpur-Khamgaon Palkhi Highway in Beed district on Sunday. The victims were travelling from Majalgaon to Tuljapur to seek the blessings of Goddess Tulja Bhavani when the accident occurred. The collision left the car completely mangled and the front portion of the bus severely damaged. he deceased have been identified as Omkar Mahadev Giri (24), Gajanan Mahadev Namdas (38), Mauli Gajanan Namdas (11), Somnath Bade (23) and Anil Acharya (40).
