NSFs can now get up to Rs 50 crore to host international events

New Delhi, Oct 16 (UNI) National Sports Federations (NSFs) will be eligible for financial assistance of up to Rs 50 crore to host international sporting events in India, the Sports Ministry announced on Friday while unveiling the revised operational guidelines for its Scheme of Assistance to NSFs. Earlier, federations could receive up to Rs 2 crore to organise international events in the country.
