Flamengo midfielder De Arrascaeta undergoes surgery

Rio De Janeiro, Oct 2 (UNI) Flamengo midfielder Giorgian de Arrascaeta has undergone successful surgery to repair a fracture in his left wrist, the Brazilian club said. The 32-year-old sustained the injury while playing for Uruguay in its 4-1 friendly win over South Korea in Seoul on Monday. "He will remain in the hospital under observation during the afternoon, with discharge expected later tonight, provided his clinical progress remains positive," Flamengo said in a social media post.
