Injury-prone English quick Mark Wood announces international retirement

New Delhi, Sep 22 (UNI) England quick Mark Wood has called time on his international career, ending an 11-year journey that brought him two World Cup titles and four Ashes campaigns. Wood burst onto the international scene against New Zealand at Lord's in 2015 and went on to become a regular across formats. The 36-year-old finished with 119 wickets from 38 Tests, while his limited-overs record included 80 wickets in 70 ODIs and 54 wickets in 38 T20Is.
