Kaithal: Wushu coach awarded 10 years' jail, fined Rs 25,000 in rape case

Satish Seth Kaithal, Sep 25 (UNI) A Special Court in Kaithal has sentenced Wushu coach and former sports association secretary Deepak Kumar Lot to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs 25,000 for raping a female player after giving her an intoxicant-laced cold drink. If the fine is not paid, the convict will have to undergo additional punishment. This matter is of May 2023.
