Dev Meena rewrites national record, finishes seventh in Asian Games pole vault

Aichi-Nagoya, Sept 29 (UNI) Dev Meena continued his rapid rise in men's pole vault, breaking his own national record before finishing seventh at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games here on Tuesday. The 21-year-old Madhya Pradesh vaulter cleared 5.50m on his second attempt, improving the national mark of 5.46m he had set at the National Inter-State Senior Athletics Championships earlier this year.
