Hyd:CSIR-NGRI strengthens groundwater exploration, skill development for sustainable water management

Hyderabad, Oct 7 (UNI) The CSIR-National Geophysical Research Institute (CSIR-NGRI) is strengthening groundwater exploration and sustainable water management through advanced geophysical technologies and specialised skill-development programmes, with a focus on addressing water challenges in stressed regions of the country. The initiative, being undertaken under the leadership of CSIR-NGRI Director Dr Prakash Kumar, seeks to translate geophysical research into field-oriented solutions for groundwater assessment and sustainable availability for drinking water and agricultural needs, the Institute said in a release on Wednesday.
