Telangana: SIR process amounts to voter theft, alleges AISF

Hyderabad, Oct 7 (UNI) AISF Telangana State President Kasireddy Manikanta Reddy on Wednesday alleged that the removal of eligible voters from electoral rolls under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process was an assault on democracy and demanded its immediate cancellation. Addressing a protest rally organised by the AISF Hyderabad District Council from Bashirbagh to Nizam College, he demanded the arrest of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, alleging that millions of eligible voters had been illegally deleted from electoral rolls.
