Hyderabad-Based EON Space Labs Secures Patent for Miniaturised Space Telescope

Hyderabad, Sept 29 (UNI) EON Space Labs, a Hyderabad-based deeptech company, on Tuesday announced that it had secured a patent from the Indian Patent Office for its miniaturised telescope-based imaging system, MIRA, designed to deliver high-definition multispectral Earth observation imagery. Weighing 502 grams, MIRA is integrated with TakeMe2Space's MOI-1A satellite, which is scheduled to launch aboard SpaceX's Transporter-18 mission on October 1, 2026, the company said in a release. The company describes MOI-1A as India's first orbital computing satellite.
