Security and Disaster response mock drill was conducted at NTECL Vallur Thermal Power Plant

Chennai, Sep 29 (UNI) A mega multi-agency security and disaster response mock drill was successfully conducted at NTECL Vallur Thermal Power Project (VTPP) to test and strengthen the defence and emergency preparedness, response capabilities and enhance seamless coordination among various security, disaster management, medical and administrative agencies at the critical power infrastructure facility. The exercise was spearheaded by the CISF Unit, VTPP Vallur, and featured a complex dual-threat scenario involving a simulated chlorine gas leakage and an armed security threat.
