Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 24 (UNI) The Kerala State Human Rights Commission has sought a report from the authorities on the growing stray dog menace in Thiruvananthapuram district, which has allegedly reached alarming levels. Commission Chairperson Justice Alexander Thomas took cognisance of a complaint alleging failure on the part of the authorities to take adequate measures to control the menace and issued notices to the Principal Secretary of the Local Self Government Department and the Secretary of Thiruvananthapuram Corporation.
