Hyd: Khairatabad Ganapathi darshan to end wednesday; special MMTS trains for immersion rush

Hyderabad, Sept 22 (UNI) Darshan of the famous Khairatabad Maha Ganapathi will be available to devotees only until Wednesday night (September 23), with the idol immersion procession scheduled for Friday, at 6 a.m. The immersion is expected to be completed by noon, organisers said. Meanwhile, to clear the additional rush of passengers during the Ganesh idol immersion, South Central Railway (SCR) will operate special MMTS trains during the intervening nights of September 25-26 and 26-27 between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. The special services will operate on the Secunderabad-Hyderabad, Hyderabad-Lingampalli, Lingampalli-Falaknuma and Falaknuma-Secunderabad routes, with stoppages at all MMTS stations…
