Kavitha announces 50 pc party tickets for women, irrespective of reservation policy

Hyderabad, Oct 12 (UNI) Telangana Rakshana Sena chief Kalvakuntla Kavitha on Monday announced that her party would allocate 50 per cent of its seats to women, irrespective of the position taken by other political parties or the implementation of official reservation policies. Participating in Bathukamma celebrations at the party office in Banjara Hills here, Kavitha, along with women leaders, arranged floral Bathukamma stacks, sang traditional songs, performed rituals for Goddess Gauramma and joined the traditional dance.
