Cong leaders urge Shivakumar to overhaul KPSC amid corruption allegations

Bengaluru, Sept 17 (UNI) Amid allegations of "large-scale corruption" in the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC), Congress leaders on Thursday mounted pressure on Chief Minister D K Shivakumar to scrap the recruitment process under a cloud and overhaul the commission on the lines of the union Public Service Commission (UPSC). A delegation of Congress leaders met D K Shivakumar and submitted a memorandum demanding cancellation of the allegedly tainted recruitment process and a complete revamp of the KPSC's recruitment mechanism.
