Kerala CM defends Rahul Gandhi, hits out at Rajeev Chandrasekhar over personal attacks

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 28 (UNI) Kerala Chief Minister V D Satheesan on Monday strongly defended Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and hit out at BJP state president Rajeev Chandrasekhar over his personal remarks against the Congress leader. Satheesan said the Congress and Rahul Gandhi were standing up for democracy and secularism and questioned whether any BJP leader, including Chandrasekhar, could "place a hand on their chest" and truthfully claim to be committed to safeguarding secularism.
