Prem Nazir's eldest daughter Laila Beegum passes away

Kozhikode, Oct 8 (UNI) Laila Beegum, eldest daughter of legendary Malayalam actor Prem Nazir, passed away at a private hospital here on Wednesday evening. She was 76. Laila died around 7.30 pm after suffering a heart attack while undergoing treatment. She had been residing in Kozhikode for more than five decades. She was married to P.A. Rasheed, a former Superintending Engineer with the Public Works Department, who died earlier.
