Unsuccessful TVK candidate's plea challeging poll victory of Ex-DMK Minister Regupathy rejected by HC

Chennai, Sep 30 (UNI) The Madras High Court on Wednesday rejected an election petition filed by losing TVK candidate C.Chinthamani challenging the victory of senior DMK leader and former Law Minister S.Regupathy from Thirumayam Assembly constituency in the April 23 polls. Reghupathy was elected from the seat in Pudukkottai district by a margin of 1,492 votes for the third time in succession and for the fourth term to the Assembly.
