J&K Police step up social media surveillance amid suspected cross-border links

Jammu, Sep 30 (UNI) In the backdrop of the arrest of a 24-year-old truck driver in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir for allegedly sharing sensitive information with a Pakistan-based agency, Jammu and Kashmir Police have stepped up surveillance of social media platforms in border districts close to the International Border. As per reports, one Aman Kumar, who was allegedly honey-trapped in the Hariachak area of Kathua, was recently arrested on suspicion of passing photographs and information related to sensitive locations, including Army installations, highways, flyovers and bridges, to Pakistani handlers.
