Madras HC directs DVAC not to act against Ex-DMK Min Velu, son till Oct 15 in illegal lake-bed material excavation case

Chennai, Oct 9 (UNI) The Madras High Court on Friday orally directed the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC) not to act against senior DMK leader and former Minister E.V.Velu and his son E V Kumaran till October 15 in connection with an FIR over the alleged excavation of lake-bed material for levelling the DMK conference venue in Tiruvannamalai district in 2025.
