One vote loss : Madras HC dismisses ex-DMK Minister's poll plea

Chennai, Sep 29 (UNI) The Madras High Court on Monday dismissed an election petition filed by former minister and DMK leader K.R.Periakaruppan challenging the victory of ruling TVK candidate R.Seenivasa Sethupathi by one vote in the Tirupattur Assembly seat in Sivaganga district of Tamil Nadu. Passing orders, Mr.Justice G.K. Ilanthiraiyan, who had reserved orders earlier this month, today dismissed the plea.
