Former Minister and Oppn DMK MLA Anitha Radhakrishnan, 6 others acquitted in DA case

Chennai, Nov 3 (UNI) A Sessions Court in Thoothukudi district of Tamil Nadu on Tuesday acquitted former Minister and present DMK MLA Anitha R.Radhakrishnan and six others in the two-decade old Rs 4.90 crore disproportionte assets case registered in 2006. Passing orders in the case, Thoothukudi Sessions Judge Ms.Subhadevi acquitted Anitha Radhakrishnan, the current MLA representing Tiruchendur in the State Assembly, his wife Jayakanthi, sons Anantha Padmanabhan and Anantha Mageswaran and three others on the ground that the prosecution has failed to prove the case beyond any reasonable doubt.
