KPSC recruitment scam widens, former chairman, member arrested by ED

Bengaluru, Oct 7 (UNI) The alleged Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) recruitment scam has widened significantly, with the Enforcement Directorate (ED) arresting former chairman Shivashankarappa Sahukar and commission member BV Geetha as investigators probe suspected irregularities across as many as 13 recruitment examinations. The arrests mark a major escalation in the investigation, which initially centred on alleged manipulation in the recruitment of veterinary officers but has now expanded to other KPSC examinations, including those for gazetted posts and motor vehicle-related positions.
