Kerala launches 'Scene Kerala' portal to engage Gen Z, Gen Alpha

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 7 (UNI) The Kerala Youth Welfare Board has launched the 'Scene Kerala' initiative to enable young people, particularly those belonging to Gen Z and Gen Alpha, to directly communicate their ideas, views and suggestions to the government.

The initiative is aimed at understanding the perspectives of the new generation and ensuring their participation in government activities and programmes.

The 'Scene Kerala' portal will provide young people with a platform to share their ideas and suggestions directly with the government, thereby creating a channel for regular interaction between the younger generation and the government.

Sports, Youth Affairs and Registration Minister O J Janeesh said the introduction of such a portal under the State Youth Welfare Board would help ensure greater participation of young people in the activities of the State Government. Youth have a decisive role in shaping the future of a society and their participation is essential for building a more creative and progressive society, he said. The initiative is being implemented as part of the State Government's 100-day action programme.
