Telangana Ministers, MLAs head to Bengaluru to seek water for Jurala

Hyderabad, Sep 22 (UNI) Telangana Ministers Vakiti Srihari and Jupally Krishna Rao, along with MLAs Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy, Madhusudan Reddy and Megha Reddy, on Tuesday left for Bengaluru to meet Karnataka Chief Minister D K Shivakumar and seek release of water to the Jurala Project. The delegation will discuss the irrigation and drinking water requirements of the undivided Mahabubnagar district, where farmers in the Palamuru region are facing hardships amid deficient rainfall and El Niño conditions.
