Kerala plans three-tier mechanism to attract, fast-track large investments: PK Kunhalikutty

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 16 (UNI) Kerala is planning a three-tier governance mechanism and special investment zones to attract and fast-track large-scale investments, with the initiative expected to bring in investments worth Rs 10,000-20,000 crore and generate 50,000-75,000 direct jobs over the next ten years, Industries Minister P K Kunhalikutty said on Wednesday. The proposed mechanism will comprise the Invest Keralam Cell (IKC), Investment Advisory Council (IAC) and Special Investment Zones (SIZs), aimed at providing a data-driven, AI-supported single-window system, strategic investment guidance and world-class infrastructure for theme-based industries.
