Centre sanctions 2 lakh rural houses for Telangana under PMAY

Hyderabad, Sep 18 (UNI) The Centre has sanctioned two lakh houses for rural Telangana under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar said on Friday. In a statement, while welcoming the announcement by union Agriculture and Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Mr Sanjay Kumar thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Mr Chouhan for the sanction. He said the Centre had already sanctioned 1.13 lakh houses for the urban poor in Telangana.
