Medicine supply streamlined in Kerala Govt hospitals: Minister

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 7 (UNI) The supply of essential medicines, including life-saving drugs, medicines for lifestyle diseases and antibiotics, has been streamlined in government hospitals across Kerala, Health and Devaswom Minister K. Muraleedharan has said. The Minister said immediate steps had been taken to expedite the distribution of medicines procured through the Kerala Medical Services Corporation Limited (KMSCL) from district stores to health institutions. He also directed officials to closely monitor stocks and take advance measures to prevent shortages.
