Fire breaks out in plastic, plywood godowns in Mailardevpally; firecracker shop catches fire in Secunderabad

Hyderabad, Nov 8 (UNI) A major fire broke out in a plastic godown in the Mailardevpally Industrial Estate on Sunday evening and spread to an adjacent plywood godown, causing extensive property damage. Three fire engines were pressed into service to bring the blaze under control. Police personnel ensured the safe evacuation of people from the godowns. The goods stored in the two premises were reportedly gutted in the fire. The cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained.
