IDSFFK to pay tribute to filmmaker Shashi Anand

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 25 (UNI) The 18th International Documentary and Short Film Festival of Kerala (IDSFFK) will pay tribute to filmmaker and cinematographer Shashi Anand through a special package titled The Compassionate Eye: A Tribute to Shashi Anand, featuring two of his documentary works, How Much Longer? and Man Vs Man. Anand, a Kolkata-based documentary filmmaker and cinematographer, was known for his empathetic portrayal of marginalised communities and his exploration of poverty, labour, dignity and social inequality.
