13 filmmakers, diverse stories meet audiences at IDSFFK

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 29 (UNI) Thirteen filmmakers whose works were screened at the 18th International Documentary and Short Film Festival of Kerala (IDSFFK) shared their experiences and perspectives at a Face-to-Face session held at the Kairali Theatre Portico here. The session, moderated by documentary filmmaker, film researcher and Associate Professor Dr Rajesh James, provided an opportunity for filmmakers to discuss their works, creative processes and approaches to storytelling. Robin Joy, director of Paradise Fall, and Rahul Narayanan, representing Maupassant's Cat, spoke about their films as loose adaptations of works by Gabriel García Márquez and Guy de Maupassant respectively.
