Kerala eyes 2,000 MWh battery storage, 300 MW from NTPC to tackle energy crunch: CM

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 7 (UNI) Kerala has drawn up a series of major measures to strengthen its power security, including a massive 2,000 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at Kayamkulam and procurement of up to 300 MW of electricity from NTPC's Sinnar project in Maharashtra, Chief Minister V D Satheesan said on Wednesday.
