95 lakh voters out' report incorrect, says Telangana CEO

Hyderabad, Oct 9 (UNI) Telangana Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) C Sudharsan Reddy has rejected a newspaper report titled "95,00,000 Votlu Out", stating that the claim was incorrect and far from the truth. In a statement on Friday, the CEO clarified that the actual status of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in the state, as of 1000 hours, showed that 73,39,235 electors had been placed in the Absent, Shifted, Duplicate and Death (ASDD) category.
