Magnitude 3.0 earthquake recorded in Bengaluru Rural district

Bengaluru, Oct 23 (UNI) A mild earthquake measuring 3.0 on the Richter scale was recorded in Tubagere village panchayat limits of Doddaballapur taluk in Bengaluru Rural district on Friday morning, the Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) said. According to the centre, the tremor was recorded at 0901 hours on October 23, with the epicentre located about 0.5 km north of Thimmojanahalli village at a depth of approximately 10 km.
