CCB police raids properties linked to key accused Arasakumar's son, daughter in Rs 100-crore school fraud case

Chennai, Sep 29 (UNI) A day after the Madras High Court quashed the Goondas Act detention of key arrested accused B.T.Arasakumar, the Central Crime Branch (CCB) police on Tuesday conducted raids at five locations belonging to his son and daughter in connection with an alleged Rs 100-crore private schools fraud case. He was arrested for illegally collecting more than Rs 100 crore from private schools for according/renewing permanent recognitions and other statutory approvals during the previous DMK regime, following which cases were also booked against former School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, whose premises were also raided by the CCB…
