Telangana: ACB catches Grama Palana Officer accepting Rs 22,000 bribe

Hyderabad, Oct 29 (UNI) The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Adilabad Range, on Thursday caught D Srinivas, Grama Palana Officer (GPO) of Mosam village in Mancherial district, red-handed while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 22,000. According to the ACB release, Srinivas demanded the money from a complainant for submitting a report to higher authorities to correct the complainant's father's name in revenue records, enabling the complainant and his brother to claim succession to agricultural land.
