ACB seizes Rs 2.40 lakh unaccounted cash from HMWS&SB Joint Director

Hyderabad, Oct 25 (UNI) The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) seized Rs 2.40 lakh in unaccounted cash from A Srinivas, Joint Director of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB), Khairatabad, during a surprise check on Raj Bhavan Road on Saturday evening. According to the ACB statement on Sunday, its City Range-II team acted on an anonymous tip-off that a senior HMWS&SB official was allegedly carrying cash collected illegally from his office while proceeding to his residence.
