Youth Congress march turns tense near University hostel in Kerala capital

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 30 (UNI) A Youth Congress march in the city turned tense on Wednesday night following a confrontation near the University of Kerala hostel, with protesters and students trading allegations and police using force to disperse the crowd. The march, organised by the Youth Congress as part of its agitation demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, reached the hostel area when stones and bottles were allegedly hurled at the protesters from inside the hostel premises.
