Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 28 (UNI) The Kerala Police Cyber Wing has urged the public to remain vigilant against cyber fraud involving fake pop-up messages on mobile phones, warning that a single click could lead to the loss of money and personal information. Fraudsters use deceptive alerts prompting users to update their phones or remove viruses to trick them into clicking malicious links. Such messages may appear genuine but could expose sensitive personal information and banking details to cybercriminals, the police warned.
