Every rupee of public money must be accounted for and utilised for intended purpose: Lok Sabha Speaker

Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 3 (UNI) Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Tuesday called upon the Public Accounts Committees (PACs) of Parliament and State Legislatures to strengthen financial oversight and ensure that every rupee of public money was properly accounted for and utilised for the purpose for which it was sanctioned.
