Telangana: CSIR-CCMB launches farmer-focused activities at Bommaipalli campus

Hyderabad, Oct 8 (UNI) CSIR-Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CSIR-CCMB) has begun operations at its third annex campus at Bommaipalli village in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district, with a focus on sustainable and climate-resilient agriculture. The 50-acre campus is being used partly for cultivating Super Rice varieties that are resistant to infections and parasites and tolerant to high soil salinity and low phosphorus levels.
