KICL gets DGCA nod for KOAIR-10L agricultural spraying drone; commercial rollout cleared

Kochi, Oct 16 (UNI) Kothari Industrial Corporation Ltd (KICL), the flagship company of the D.C. Kothari Group, has secured Type Certification from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) for its KOAIR-10L agricultural spraying drone, marking a major step towards commercial production and deployment of the technology in India. The certification, issued on October 9 following technical evaluation and recommendation by authorised certification body TQ Cert Services Private Limited, was granted under the applicable certification scheme for unmanned aircraft systems and the Drone Rules, 2021.
