Bihar to set up 62 open school study centres in child care institutions

Patna, Oct 16 (UNI) Bihar government would establish 62 study centres of the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) in child care institutions to provide quality education to children residing in these facilities. The Social Welfare Department has approved the opening of these centres. Official sources said here on Friday that the initiative aims to help children who have been deprived of regular schooling or whose education has been disrupted due to various circumstances reconnect with the mainstream education system.
