T'gana: Cheyutha pension application scrutiny deadline extended to Sep 30

Hyderabad, Sep 24 (UNI) The Telangana government has extended the deadline for scrutiny of new applications for 'Cheyutha' social security pensions from September 25 to September 30. SERP CEO Divya Devarajan issued orders extending the deadline following requests from field-level officials, who reported difficulty in completing the scrutiny within the original timeframe due to their involvement in Special Intensive Revision (SIR) duties, arrangements for the Vinayaka immersion procession and other responsibilities. SERP has directed all District Collectors to ensure that scrutiny of new 'Cheyutha' pension applications is completed within the extended deadline.
