Gram Sabhas to pass resolutions on El Niño action plan on Oct 2: Seethakka

Hyderabad, Sep 21 (UNI) Telangana Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister Danasari Anasuya Seethakka on Monday directed officials to prepare village-level action plans to tackle the possible impact of El Niño and place them before Gram Sabhas on October 2. Reviewing the department's programmes at the Panchayat Raj Commissioner's office in Khairatabad, Ms Seethakka said Gram Sabhas should discuss the specific needs of each village, available funds and proposed development works and pass appropriate resolutions.
